Welcome

We believe that both physical and non-physical violent actions are caused by deeply rooted issues that often have no relationship to the specific outburst of violent behavior. At PINS, we examine the underlying societal and individual causes of violence, rechanneling that energy into non-violent solutions for peace, justice and the common good, be it at the individual, interpersonal, inter-organizational, inter-governmental or societal levels.
PINS is a non-profit organization in the research and development phase of creating our programs. At this time, we rely on grants and contributions to create the resources needed by those desiring to avail themselves of our services, and to run day to day operations. If you would like to assist our efforts to end violence, please send your tax deductible contribution to PINS at: P.O. Box 3363, Portland, OR 97208 U.S.A.
